Don’t forget, DDO is still available for preorder, either online or in many stores. Preordering DDO gives you up to 10 days of access* to the Beta, a special in-game item, and headstart access so you can reserve your character name and start playing before the game officially launches.

The latest Developer Diary at GameSpot is online, where Senior Designer David Eckelberry describes the life of a game designer on Dungeons & Dragons™ Online: Stormreach™.
Most of the "big" design work on Dungeons & Dragons Online is, thankfully for this stage of the project, complete. That means the fundamentals of the game for release are done: character classes, races, skills, spells, monsters, treasure effects, and the like. With that said, my job is nowhere near complete.
Turbine, Inc. and Atari, Inc. announced today that Messrs. Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson, the legendary co-designers of the world-renowned fantasy roleplaying game DUNGEONS & DRAGONS®, have agreed to provide some of the voiceovers for DUNGEONS & DRAGONS ONLINE™: Stormreach™. As creators of the original pen and paper game, they will provide the game’s first celebrity “Dungeon Master” voiceovers for certain in-game adventures.

You can now activate your preorder bonus key. Doing this will create a game account that you will be able to use once the headstart begins in late February and allow you to obtain the +1AC amulet. Again, the amulet will become available once the headstart begins. This account can then be upgraded once you get the retail copy of the game which will allow you to continue using the account once the game officially goes live.
We are delighted to announce the opening of the official European Dungeons and Dragons™ Online: Stormreach™ website today.
