Meditation
Meditation
- Usage: Active
- Prerequisite: Monk, class level 2
Description
Your enlightenment allows you to regenerate ki at a faster rate.
- Target: Self
- Duration: 30 seconds
Notes
Two times per rest, a monk can meditate to regain ki. Meditation increases the passive ki generation by 7 for 30 seconds. Any action or movement will interrupt this meditation. If your ki remains below your Concentration for the entire duration, this should regain 35 ki.
Meditation is one reason why experienced Monks rarely use a shrine. Ki, the mystical energy that empowers a Monk, drains slowly over time. Shrining will make any ki in excess of the Monk's ki pool (equal to his Concentration skill) evaporate. Twice per rest, this feat can regenerate ki in any area where the monk will not be interrupted during the meditation cycle.
Henshin Mystic's Embrace the Void can add up to three additional Meditation turns (for a total of 5), also absorbing damage while meditating.
