Ataraxia's Haven[edit]
If you try to talk to him, he will reply:
- Leros Levithas: I was hired by Sykros, the rightful owner of this island, to tame its wild residents and make its shores safe for travelers. I was glad to accept his offer. Most builders would slaughter all the living things on the island, not seek a druid's help in pacifying them without bloodshed. Yet, just as I was making progress, the duergar invaded and turned Sykros' dream into my nightmare!
- You: What have the duergar done to the island?
- Leros Levithas: The deep dwarves are delving a mine right into the heart of Ataraxia's Haven! Meanwhile, they kill the native beasts wantonly, sometimes for food, but more often for sport. As a result, the beasts have grown bloodthirsty, and my work is ruined. All for the petty love of gems and gold! Had I the strength, I would wreck their mines and repay them for the pain they have caused!
- You: Gems? Gold? Your story moves me, druid. I will destroy the duergar mines and steal their hateful wealth in the process!
- Leros Levithas: Take what you like from the duergar, but also destroy their equipment. Else you will have no thanks from me!
Talking to him after acquiring the quest, but before completion, will make he say:
- Leros Levithas: Descend into the main shaft of the duergar mines and wreck everything in sight! The deep dwarves are vicious but greedy. Destroy enough of their precious tools, and they may seek easier profits elsewhere. Only when the last duergar leaves Ataraxia's Haven can the island's healing begin.
On completion of quest, he will congratulate you with the following:
- Leros Levithas: The duergar are in an uproar over the havoc in the mines! The surviving overseers are grumbling about 'lost profits' and 'doomed ventures.' I am sure there will be more fighting before they give up for good, but thank you for striking the first blow.
- You: It was a pleasure. I hope you can restore peace to Ataraxi's Haven.
- Leros Levithas: Ataraxia's Haven will long bear the scars of the duergar presence, but soon its healing will begin.
After completing the quest and taking the reward, if you talk to him again, he will reply:
- Leros Levithas: The duergar are in an uproar over the havoc in the mines! The surviving overseers are grumbling about 'lost profits' and 'doomed ventures.' I am sure there will be more fighting before they give up for good, but thank you for striking the first blow.
