Description: The most basic type of kobold. No specialized weaponry or attacks. They are used on the Lamannia server for DPS testing (on other servers, a Training Dummy will serve much the same purpose.)

Bug: When a quest is created on DDO's internal software, a single Kobold is placed inside the dungeon by default. This is not always removed, meaning certain quests (such as Through a Mirror Darkly) may include erroneous Kobolds. Kobolds that spawn in this way, for some bizarre reason, appear in the Monster Manual as a Rat called Failed Experiment.
