Inspire Competence
- Level: Bard 3
- Perform: 6 ranks
- Target: one nearby ally other than the Bard, or all nearby allies other than the Bard if using Inspiring Echoes (effect on the Epic Elyd Edge).
- Base Duration: 4 minutes
Song Description
Gives one ally a +2 untyped bonus to all skill checks. Claims to be a competence bonus, but is actually untyped so it stacks with all other skill buffs (including the usual competence bonus from items).
The song's duration can be raised through the Lingering Song and Virtuoso Bard enhancements.
Note: Only the base number of ranks bought with skill points count toward the Perform requirement. Bonuses do not count.
