Name: Hragg

Race: Ogre

Gender: Male

Bestows Quest(s): The Cult of the Six

Location: Sorrowdusk Isle, head North-East from Bruku and through the tunnels to reach Upper Sorrowdusk Isle

Notes: Hragg is a Lord of the Grey Moon Clan of Ogres. He and Bruku were sent into exile when Lord Grust usurped leadership of the clan.

After getting your end reward from Bruku for completing the Grey Moon Waning quest chain, speak to him a second time to advance to the first quest of the Cult of the Six story arc: Captives of the Cult. After that you have to talk to Hragg who is in the northernmost part of Sorrowdusk for further advancement.

Sorrowdusk Isle[edit]

As soon as you arrive at Sorrowdusk Isle, if you try to talk to him, he will say:

  • Lord Hragg of Grey Moon: Go away, puny one. Lord Hragg have enough troubles without city-people to worry about too.

Grey Moon Waning[edit]

After acquiring the quest The Grey Moon's Den: The Trollish Scourge, but before completion, he will say:

  • Lord Hragg of Grey Moon: Trolls still in Grey Moon ancestor-caves! Go destroy them! Not waste Hragg's time!

After acquiring the quest The Grey Moon's Den: Extermination, but before completion, he will say:

  • Lord Hragg of Grey Moon: Begone! Still work to be done in ancestral caves! All trolls must DIE!

After completing the quest The Grey Moon's Den: Extermination, but before talking to Bruku, he will say:

  • Lord Hragg of Grey Moon: You should talk to Bruku, not Hragg. If trolls are all dead, he must know!

Cult of the Six[edit]

After you concludes Grey Moon Waning, Hraag will start giving you missions.

The Temple Outpost: Captives of the Cult[edit]

Talking to him after acquiring the first quest from Bruku, but before completion, will make him say:

  • Lord Hragg of Grey Moon: Hragg see visions of ogre-kin in fire-smoke at night. Ogre-kin slaves, kept by dark clerics! Go to outpost! Free Hragg's people from evil men!

Talking to him after completing the quest will make him say:

  • Lord Hragg of Grey Moon: Ogre slaves free now. Hragg hear already. What of clerics?
  • You: There were many of them, and wights and trolls serving them as well.
  • Lord Hragg of Grey Moon: Wights? Hragg fear this may be so. Men are trying to take back dark temple, spread woe like in old days. Ogre-kin too weak now to stop them. You must do it.
  • You: Where do I start?
  • Lord Hragg of Grey Moon: Go back to outpost. Find Libram of the Six and bring to Hragg.
  • You: The Libram of the Six? What's that?
  • Lord Hragg of Grey Moon: Sacred text of Dark Six followers. Evil, evil book, left to rot in outpost. Ogres leave alone, all these years, but clerics must have taken it back. It may have clue about their plans. You find, bring to Hragg. (Advance chain)

The Temple Outpost: The Libram of the Six[edit]

Talking to him after acquiring the quest, but before completion, will make him say:

  • Lord Hragg of Grey Moon: You must find Libram of the Six! In temple outpost!

Talking to him after completing the quest will make him say:

  • Lord Hragg of Grey Moon: You bring book ... Hragg see it in dream. Well done! Now you give ... Hragg read, maybe learn why cultists here.
    • You: Give Hragg the Libram of the Six.
      • Lord Hragg of Grey Moon: Hragg takes the book, runs his hand over it, then looks up at you, his eyes narrow. Hragg read this, but it take time. Meanwhile, you go on to main temple. Find worship hall and smash all altars. That make the clerics good and angry! (Advance chain)
    • You: How do I know I can trust you with this?
      • Lord Hragg of Grey Moon: Book not magic. Is only words. Hragg not use it for bad—you don't know that by now, Hragg not know what to do. Please, cultists must be stopped. Give Hragg book!
        • You: Give Hragg the book. (See above)

The Fane of the Six: Cleansing the Temple[edit]

Talking to him after acquiring the quest, but before completion, will make him say:

  • Lord Hragg of Grey Moon: The stones of this island stink of that temple. Go break the altars, and end the land's weeping!

Talking to him after completing the quest will make him say:

  • Lord Hragg of Grey Moon: Hragg looks at you, his eyes troubled. Is done? Is temple cleansed?
  • You: The altars are destroyed, yes.
  • Lord Hragg of Grey Moon: Good ... but that not the end of it. Hragg study part of Book of Six while you away. Cultists up to something worse than just reclaiming temple. They raise corpses of old priests, from long ago. That where wights come from.
  • You: Then they should be stopped. (Advance chain)
  • Lord Hragg of Grey Moon: Hragg think so too. Go back to temple and kill their leader, the Prelate. He is raising wights ... if he dies, dead men will stop rising to walk on Sorrowdusk. Also, find way into inner sanctum of temple ... but do not go in. Not yet. Dark things afoot, too dangerous to interfere now. Use side entrance into temple this time—they seal off the front.

The Fane of the Six: Fall of the Prelate[edit]

Talking to him after acquiring the quest, but before completion, will make him say:

  • Lord Hragg of Grey Moon: Prelate not dead yet ... he must be killed!

Talking to him after completing the quest will make him say:

  • Lord Hragg of Grey Moon: Is Prelate dead? No more making of wights on Sorrowdusk?
  • You: The Prelate is dead.
  • Lord Hragg of Grey Moon: Good. But worst is not over. Cultists reopen inner sanctum, where they do dark things, terrible things. There anything in temple besides wights and cultists?
  • You: Yes, there were mephits.
  • Lord Hragg of Grey Moon: Hragg nods, a sour look on his face. Let us say Hragg not surprised. Mephits likely coming from sanctum. Worse to come, unless you stop it.
  • You: How do I get in there?
  • Lord Hragg of Grey Moon: Way is open now. With Prelate dead, cult will try to strike back. Go back to temple, find mephits. Will be summoning fires in sanctum ... mephits come from there. Destroy fires, no more mephits. Now go, before cult sets them loose, and they overrun whole island! (Advance chain)

The Sanctum: Quench the Flames[edit]

Talking to him after acquiring the quest, but before completion, will make him say:

  • Lord Hragg of Grey Moon: Must destroy all summoning fires in temple-sanctum. Otherwise, mephits never stop coming. Hurry!

Talking to him after completing the quest will make him say:

  • Lord Hragg of Grey Moon: Fires are destroyed—is good. But soon bishop of cult will call on the Fury, one of the Six. If that happen, all on Sorrowdusk die. Ogres, trolls, everyone. Only one thing to do.
  • You: What is that?
  • Lord Hragg of Grey Moon: Stop cult for good. Their leader, the Bishop, coming to temple. When he get there, start ritual to summon army of fire reavers. Hragg read about it in Book of Six.
    • You: They have to be stopped!
      • Lord Hragg of Grey Moon: Hragg agree. No time to waste—Bishop probably there already. He not human—is terrible creature, part dark elf, part scorpion. You go kill him, and destroy idol of the Fury. Do it quickly—if fire reavers come, it will be too late! (Advance chain)
    • You: Fire reavers? What are they?
      • Lord Hragg of Grey Moon: Deadly creatures, used to be on island, by old tales. Kill many ogres until Mokosh, first chief of Grey Moon, unite clans and wipe out. If they come back, they cause much harm. Ogre-kin too weak after fighting trolls to defeat them again. And after they kill us, maybe they move on. Maybe even to city across water!
        • You: Stormreach? Then the cult must be stopped! (See above)

The Sanctum: Church of the Fury[edit]

Talking to him after acquiring the quest, but before completion, will make him say:

  • Lord Hragg of Grey Moon: Hragg cannot believe you still here talking to him. Bishop at temple sanctum conjuring fire reavers! Go stop him now, or all is doomed!

Talking to him after completing the quest will make him say:

  • Lord Hragg of Grey Moon: You great hero of Sorrowdusk, destroying cult of the Six, stop Fire Reavers from coming. Ogre-kin owe much to you, more than can repay. You are friend to us, long as Chief Hragg rule over Grey Moon.
  • You: May there always be pleace between us, Hragg.

After you finish the Cult of the Six arc, he will tell you the following:

  • Lord Hragg of Grey Moon: You great hero of Sorrowdusk, destroying cult of the Six, stop Fire Reavers from coming. Ogre-kin owe much to you, more than can repay. You are friend to us, long as Chief Hragg rule over Grey Moon.
