Character level
From DDO wiki
Character Level: the actual total number of levels your character has achieved. When multiclassing, this number is the sum of all levels in all of a character's classes. Currently the level cap is 25. There are five ranks to a level (each rank is 1/5 of the total mount of experience needed to level up).
