Character slots indicate how many characters you can create on each game world. There are a few ways by which you can increase the number of character slots you have on your account:

  • All accounts get a basic initial allocation of character slots:
  • Up to 30 more character slots can be purchased in the DDO Store.
  • The Shadowfell Conspiracy expansion:
    • The Standard Edition comes with 1 character slot.
    • The Collector's Edition comes with 3 character slots.
    • The Pre-Order version came with an additional 1 character slot.
  • The Mists of Ravenloft expansion Ultimate Fan Bundle and Collector's Edition each come with 1 extra character slot.
  • The Masterminds of Sharn expansion Ultimate Fan Bundle and Collector's Edition each come with 1 extra character slot.
  • The Fables of the Feywild expansion Ultimate Fan Bundle and Collector's Edition each come with 1 extra character slot.
  • The Isle of Dread expansion Ultimate Fan Bundle and Collector's Edition each come with 1 extra character slot.
    • "When they fixed the Dread issue for not giving character slots, those who has the middle tier got 1 slot, ultimate got 2 from what I heard." - Sardonic on Discord
