It would probably depend on what changed... if the only thing that changed was, say, the currency standard switching from gold to plat, or a description fix, then yes. If the item significantly changed (new/lost/changed enchantments), then IMHO no pic is better than an outdated one, unless there's a way to splash "OLD PIC! OUTDATED INFO! LOOK AT THE UPDATED STATS INSTEAD!" across it, which, yeah, no. The only time where the pic might be better would be with an enchantment that stayed the same, and isn't linked/popupped to see what it does... and even then, most of the time no pic would be better. A lot of people would probably tend to look at the pic rather than the info, and get misleading/bad information. A blank space there would be better than wrong info, IMHO. Plus, possibly more easily to realize that something needs a new picture...

uh, yes or no? then yes. we need to put a note or something on pic being obsolete somewhere on the page ofc (possibly bolded), but yea.
this is off topic, but this wiki's "upload new version of the image" function dont collide well with website caching we have. it usually takes 6-12 hours to properly display image thats newly uploaded. one thing to keep in mind...

- I've noticed some images that don't even offer the ability to upload a new version or delete the obsolete one.. Just mentioned that to Xevo (Contribs • Message • Email) in an e-mail. Seems to be anything that was there from before when the images were hosted on enterwiki and moved. As far as how long they take to update, hit your reload button on your browser.. makes them come right up (Or does for me) ShoeMaker 02:34, January 3, 2012 (EST)
Yea you should be able to see the new image instantly.. Always works for me. You just have to sometimes purge the servers cache manually (hit purge up on top), and your own browsers cache too. Hit ctrl+f5 to get a force a hard refresh.

I think these were images created when this wiki still used img.enterwiki.net. They are stored in the database differently which is probably why the pages don't behave the same as newly created images. I'll see if I can figure out a workaround.
