Artificer infusions are a type of spell that are designed to work on items, rather than creatures like most traditional spells do. They infuse the item equipped by the targeted creature with a power similar to what a spell might be able to do. For example an Artificer can increase the enhancement bonus of a weapon with the Enchant Weapons infusion.
Artificer infusions and non-infusion spells cast by artificers are not subject to arcane spell failure. Artificer infusions (and other Artificer-exclusive spells) cast from scrolls by anyone are not subject to arcane spell failure.
