As of Update 12 Patch 1, ingredients gathered in challenges can be exchanged as following.
Warning: in the exchange popup you can fill in a number (n), but the exchange that will happen will be 20*n of the type you have into 10*n of the type you want.
Example: if you want to exchange 800 Antique Coins for 400 Obsidian Arrowheads, in the exchange popup you should fill in 40 (and not 400).
If you realize during the exchange that you made a mistake, there is not a stop-option. But by stepping away from the NPC the exchange process will break-off midway.
If you try to exchange more items than you have, it will exchange all the items you have.
Items from inventory (or in green bag in inventory) OR (shared) Crafting Storage (in bank) can be used but they will be used as separated stacks. The exchange will put all new items in your inventory (green bag).
