[edit] Challenge Barter System Rewards
Rewards are available at levels 4, 8, 12, 16 and 20. Starting at level 8, items feature Tiers 2 & 3. These higher tiers require the previous tiers (i.e., you need to build Tier 1 → Tier 2 → Tier 3). Additionally, Tier 3 at any level makes the item Bound to Character (L20 Tier 3 items created pre-U12.1 remain Bound to Account).
[edit] What to run for ingredients
- Epic version ingredients are only used for the Tier 2/3 upgrades for Level 20 version items. They can only be obtained by running Epic version challenges.
- Some ingredients are always awarded, even if XP gained is zero. At level, you get 100% normal score (and thus rewards) for any given challenge. You get less when you are above the quest's level, to a minimum of 10% for being 5 or more levels over. If you are on a 20 running a challenge that only goes up to level 15, you get identical score penalties (and thus rewards penalties as they are a direct percentage of your score) going in on level 15 or level 4.

Tier 3 versions of the items at level 8/12/16 can be enchanted via Cannith Crafting. These enchantments increase the minimum level by up to +6. Using Master Craftsmanship I reduces the minimum level by 2.
