• There is one class trainer of every class residing in Korthos Village. Braij can also bestow quests in the Korthos tutorial quest series.

Notes: If you are a Druid or Artificer, Braij will not bestow any of the Korthos tutorial quests.

Korthos Village

If you have not talked to your Class Trainer, you are a Druid or Artificer, or if there is no quest available in the Korthos tutorial quest series:

• Braij Lin: A powerful bard can woo hearts and cow enemies. And a song can sting as sharp as any blade. I can teach you to enthrall audiences as a bard.
  • You: Spend action points on enhancements.
    • Braij Lin: (if you have no Bard levels) You must hear the song, not just listen to it. Move along so that I can teach our secrets to a true bard.
    • Braij Lin: (if you have at least one Bard level) (open Enhancement Panel)
  • You: Advance to the next level as a bard.

        • Braij Lin: Bard songs can help your allies and thwart your foes. The Inspire Courage bard song will make you and your allies more effective in combat, while the Fascinate bard song will stop your enemies in their tracks. You will learn more bard songs as you increase in level.

        • Braij Lin: Seek out friends to adventure with! Bards are most effective in a group because their songs, spells, and abilities are oriented towards teaming up with others. If you have no friends, then buy some in the form of handy hirelings.

  • Braij Lin: Characters who can bind your spirit have the "Spirit Binder" title beneath their names. Every tavern has a Spirit Binder inside.
  • Braij Lin: Find the Spirit Binder inside the Wavecrest Tavern and ask him to bind you.)

  • Braij Lin: Once you're close to the person who needs help, you'll be able to see a Glowing Chalice Icon hovering over his or her head.
  • Braij Lin: You can interact with these Questgivers to obtain a new quest.)
    • You: I can't find a Questgiver -- point one out for me. (bestows Tutorial: How to find a Quest quest)
      • Braij Lin: (One of the Questgiver icons on your Map is now flashing. You can press the M key to open your map and look for it.
      • Braij Lin: Make sure you're not inside the Wavecrest Tavern, and you can simply walk towards the Questgiver to reach it.

  • Braij Lin: Find the General Vendor in Korthos Village and access his shop.)
    • You: I can't find the Vendor -- point him out for me. (bestows Tutorial: How to buy & sell items in your inventory quest)
      • Braij Lin: (The Vendor's golden circular icon is now blinking on your map (open with the M key on your keyboard.)
      • Braij Lin: Normally, Vendors simply show what type of store they have beneath the Vendor's name, but the Korthos Village General Vendor now has a glowing yellow check-mark added over his head, so that you can identify him more easily.
      • Braij Lin: Once you find the General Vendor, Left-Click on him to start a dialogue and access his shop.)

  • Braij Lin: Try finding a new quest inside the Wavecrest Tavern.)
    • You: I can't find the Wavecrest Tavern or the quest inside -- point it out for me. (bestows Tutorial: Quests inside Taverns quest)
      • Braij Lin: (In order to help you find the Wavecrest Tavern's icon, we've made it blink on your map (press the M key on your keyboard to open.)
      • Braij Lin: Look for the blinking Green Mug icon on your map. Walk to the Wavecrest Tavern and Left-click on its door to go in.
      • Braij Lin: Once inside, look for Sigmund Bauerson standing at the bar. Left-click on him to interact, and obtain the new quest.)
