Description: Althea Binder is one of the hostages held by the Sharn Syndicate to force Olistair Binder to pay a ransom of 50,000 gp.
The Bookbinder Rescue[edit]
Althea Binder is a harsh hostage, and will prefer to fight her captors than run away once you locate her. If you take too long to defeat them or call their attention to you, she can easily be killed.
Once there is no more thugs around, you can talk to her:
- Althea Binder: Thank you! Thank you! What of the others? Are they safe?
- You: Come with me if you want to life. (Will start following you)
- You: Stay here. I'll be back. (Will stand ground)
Once you lead her out of the home, the DM will say:
- Dungeon Master: The anger on Althea Binder's face shows that she deeply wishes to fight the Sharn Syndicate. But her loved ones need her more, so Althea leaves the Binder Home to meet her family outside.
