Deflection bonus

A deflection bonus affects Armor Class and is granted by a spell or magic effect that makes attacks veer off harmlessly. Deflection bonuses stack with all other bonuses to AC except other deflection bonuses.

Sources of Deflection bonuses:

• Items:
  • Armor or Shield of Stability +2 (True Neutral alignment only)
  • Iron Manacles +4 (Chaotic alignment only, from Delera's Tomb)
  • Spectacular Optics +3 (from South Threnal)
  • Kundarak Warding Bracers +3 (from Dragon chest)
  • Ring of the Silver Concord +2 (from Dragon chest)
  • Cloak of Shadows +2 (from Vampire chest)
  • Dusty Rose Ioun Stone +1
• Spells:
  • Shield of faith +2-4 (exact formula: 2 + (caster level / 6), rounded down)
  • Protection from evil +2 (from attacks from evil creatures) Note: Protection from Evil is bugged and the +2 AC and save bonus from it counts as a sacred bonus so it stacks with other sources of deflection AC
  • Protection from chaos +2 (from attacks from chaotic creatures; only cast by items at this time)

Other common bonuses to your armor class are armor bonus, shield bonus, dodge bonus, dexterity bonus, natural armor bonus, and miscellaneous bonus.
